After first term finals, Sue finds herself at the top of her medical school class. She expected this grade, and was relieved by it. Nobody was suppose find out that actually she copied all the exams from the teacher's lounge. It was just one of the silly pledges she had to do in order to pass the “beta” clique. She always dreamed of being close to this pretty committee. She knew once she gets involved, she’ll be loved by the student body and everyone. But every time she did something that goes against her odds, she couldn’t help but feel awkward and out casted. She was always treated like a ghost around her whole high school year. And now that she is full of it, she needed to get out of her past. Even in her house she is treated badly.Her parents divorced right before she turned four. Her mother always criticized and judged her for her grades and only gave full attention to her sister, who is in fact pretty, smart, and just graduated from Boston University. They would totally abandon her if they knew about the term finals.Sue secretly wished she would be proved to be in the family by this final, but no one acknowledged it, except her dog Sunny. Her last decent conversation between her parents was December 29th, her seventh birthday. Often she whould day dream how life would be with her father. Sue realizes that even though she becomes a straight A’s student, nobody would care about it. “So why not?”She would ask herself. She could’ve been one of the most popular girls in school if she tried to. She could have been the most talented doctor at a hospital if she wanted to. But so what? The world did not appreciate nor recognized her, then why would she even bother to try again? She was tired and sick of being treated like a doll, which nobody even cared about. So sue decides to leave all her being in her past life, and moved on to live with her father in Paris, which was the first step to her new life that would change her completely…
